Adventure Therapy Outcomes

Our Adventure Therapy programmes focus on the following five outcomes:

SELF-WORTH

You are worthy of love and belonging. Learn a bit more about what makes you special and which strengths you have to offer, in your world. Practice more self-acceptance and self-compassion and feel better about who you are.

TOOLS FOR HAUORA (health and wellbeing)

Develop strategies that you can use in everyday life to help increase your physical, social, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

WHANAUNGATANGA (Woven into Community)

Develop social and relationship skills so that you can develop, maintain and strengthen relationships in your life. Feel a greater sense of belonging and connection to your family and community: greater whanaungatanga.

HOPE FOR A FUTURE WITH PURPOSE

Feel more inspired and motivated to work towards the future you hope for and towards your personal goals.

TAHA WAIRUA (SPIRITUAL WELLNESS)

Develop your own spiritual identity (wairuatanga) and develop a greater understanding of how this adds to your overall health and wellbeing. Develop a stronger connection to place (tūrangawaewae) and to nature.
