Adventure Specialties Trust is a non-profit charity that runs outdoor adventure programmes (Adventure With Purpose) and outdoor-based group therapy programmes (Adventure Therapy) for a range of people, from school groups to government organisations to community groups like drug and alcohol rehab centres.
We are seeking an “Operations Assistant” for our Christchurch office, to provide administrative support to the Operations Manager, the Adventure Therapy team, and the Training and Safety Manager.

The nuts and the bolts of the job are pretty similar to any admin job: handling general administrative tasks, maintaining administration systems, administering programme enrolments, ensuring the administration area is clean and organized, and managing office-related contractors such as commercial cleaners, rubbish collections, and facilities services.
We would love the candidate to have strong administration abilities with attention to detail, excellent communication, and written skills. Especially if you are proficient in (or willing and able to learn) MS Office, Excel, Workflow Max, and Survey Monkey. Past admin experience is preferable.
The role is part-time, requiring 16 hours a week, and reports to the Manager in Christchurch.
