Some cool photos from our raft building day with Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland. The girls had to construct a raft that would be sturdy enough to hold their whole team, then they raced each other!

Raft building gives our participants a chance to try something new (like tying knots), a chance to work together as a team or give leadership a go, a chance to be outdoors in the beautiful sunshine and fresh air, and a chance to create happy memories with friends, which mean they are more likely to try to recreate other positive outdoor experiences when they are back home with their own friends and families.

This video shows Instructor Caitlin with participants from Recreate, a wonderful charity that works with youth with disabilities, giving them all kinds of amazing experiences.
