Te Māhuri – Term 2 starts soon – June 2021

Te Māhuri (which means “the young tree” or “sapling” in Māori) is a free kaupapa Māori adventure therapy programme for rangatahi (youth) based in Christchurch.

What?

Te Māhuri is an adventure therapy programme that includes mountain biking, coasteering, sea kayaking, hiking and more! It provides an opportunity for rangatahi to experience the outdoors and develop a connection to themselves and their peers within a whānau environment.

When?

Term 2 dates: 1st June – 9th July 2021

Who?

Our Christchurch branch is working in partnership with Purapura Whetu to support whānau to flourish through exploration of the natural environment.
