Last week, we ran an outdoor adventure programme, in partnership with Recreate, an amazing organisation that creates life-changing opportunities for young people with disabilities.

Matt from Recreate summaries the programme:

“To start 2022 on a great note, we experienced kayaking, raft-building, slack-lining, hiking, fishing and more in the Waitakere Ranges. These pursuits were all made possible by the incredible and supportive team of Adventure Specialties.

For some youth, they were able to give these things a go for the first time, and we are so impressed by how these challenges were met with confidence!”

“Youth Camps are just one of ten programme types on offer, where we enjoy four days of outdoor pursuits and activities in a beautiful location!”
