Programmes for Schools
Adventure Specialties Trust has been offering school programmes since 1984. We have a comprehensive Operations Manual including Safety policies, Staffing policies, Vehicle and Equipment policies, an Emergency procedure policy, a Code of Practice and a comprehensive set of Risk Analysis and Management Systems (RAMS) forms. All our staff are vetted through the NZ Police Licensing and Vetting Service Centre. This information is available on request.
We offer a variety of different programmes and services for schools, ranging from technical outdoor instruction for Year 12 outdoor education to activity based Year 9 and 10 camps and one off day programmes.
We have The Journey, a programme for youth at risk. We also have experience at running other programmes for groups with special needs.
