A company’s employees are one of its greatest assets. When employees are “healthy” and committed to the company objectives, best results are achieved.
The “health” of an employee encompasses so much more than physical health. While the requirements of the Health and Safety in Employment Act deals primarily with employees physical health while on the job, it does not necessarily consider other factors which have considerable effect on employee performance.
These include
- how the employee feels about themselves and their position in the organisation
- how valued they feel
- what is going on outside of their work commitment particularly their significant relationships
- how they are feeling about balancing the demands of work and the demands of home and family
With 20 years experience in personal development and family building programmes, Adventure Specialties Trust would like to offer the following programmes which we believe will assist your company to achieve the aim of “healthier more committed employees”.
MANAGER/DAD - JUGGLING FIRESTICKS
A weekend adventure for men who have positions of responsibility in the workplace accompanied by a teenage son or daughter.
Ever felt like balancing the demands of work and family life was a bit like juggling firesticks – a little too much potential to grab the wrong end!
This adventure is a chance to explore with, one to one, your teenager and with the group, strategies and perspectives that will enhance your relationship and increase understanding of the demands and needs each has.
Limited to five men each accompanied by one teenager.
THE FAMILY ADVENTURE
An opportunity for your company to say to your employees – your family is special. A chance for each family to enhance relationships within the family and to share with and gain knowledge from other families on strategies to cope and strategies to grow stronger as a family in the increasingly pressured world in which we live.
We offer family programme packages (refer Family) or we can tailor make a programme especially for you.
