Olivia Rynne team new plymouthThe power of the Tasman Sea is ringing in your ears as you head off towards Taranaki’s iconic landmark. Can you make the summit? The rest of the Journey will seem a breeze. The Matemateaonga Range (what a mouthful!) stands in the way of reaching the Whanganui River. Paddling the lower gorge and its famous rapids Ngaporo Autapu and the Paparoas you finally make it to Pipiriki and back on the bikes to the carrot capital of the world – Ohakune. Now it’s really up hill! Will you make the summit rendezvous on time? Of course you will. You are made of the right stuff that’s why you are on this challenge. More PicsPosted Tue 3 Feb, 2009
